Sunshine Farms: Animal Friends & Farm Stand Finds
Sometimes the best experiences happen in your own backyard. Near my parents' home sits Sunshine Farms — a small, family-operated gem that proves you don't need anything fancy to create something delightful.
Walking onto the property, you're greeted by cows, chickens, goats, ducks, and sheep all eager for attention. For a few dollars, you can buy feed and suddenly become the most popular person on the farm. There's something so grounding about feeding a gentle cow or having curious goats follow you around.
Their sweet little farm stand sells seasonal produce grown right on the property. We grabbed some marionberries that were absolutely incredible — the kind you end up eating straight from the container in the car.
Sunshine Farms isn't huge, but that's exactly what makes it special. Pure and simple — a family sharing their love of farming with visitors. Perfect for a quick afternoon, especially with kids. Sometimes the sweetest adventures are hiding right around the corner.
